The algorithm model of ray path tracing is computed by tracing the ray path on standing tree. Considering electromagnetic wave propagation, which a physical model of diffraction for a forest is constructed. The mathematical model of diffraction is presented using the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction(UTD). Moreover, the expression for diffraction loss is derived. The results were then applied to the fir. Simulation and analysis show the validity of the proposed model.

AN Improved UTD Based Model For The Multiple Building Diffraction Of Plane Waves In Urban Environments By Using Higher Order Diffraction Coeficients
This paper describes an improved model for multiple building diffraction modeling based on the uniform theory of diffraction (UTD). A well-known problem in conventional uniform theory of diffraction (CUTD) is multiple-edge transition zone diffraction. Here, higher order diffracted fields are used in order to improve the result; hence, we use higher order diffraction coefficients to improve a hy...
متن کاملFloquet Wave Diffraction Theory for Tapered Planar Strip Array Green’s Function
This paper deals with the derivation and physical interpretation of a uniform high frequency representation of the Green’s function for a planar phased array of dipoles. The asymptotic representation is based on Floquet wave edge diffraction theory herein extended to accommodate slowly varying tapered amplitude illumination with possible inclusion of dipole amplitudes that tend to zero at the e...
متن کاملAlgorithm of Shadow for Diffraction in Forests based on a Wireless Sensor Network
Diffraction loss and the shadow of diffraction, which account for the growth of trees based on wireless sensors, longdistance, real-time, and accurate automatic acquisition of environmental information, were presented to meet the requirements for a wireless sensor network in a forest. Considering electromagnetic wave propagation, which accounts for the scattering and absorption behavior of plan...
متن کاملThe Uniform geometrical Theory of Diffraction for elastodynamics: Plane wave scattering from a half-plane.
Diffraction phenomena studied in electromagnetism, acoustics, and elastodynamics are often modeled using integrals, such as the well-known Sommerfeld integral. The far field asymptotic evaluation of such integrals obtained using the method of steepest descent leads to the classical Geometrical Theory of Diffraction (GTD). It is well known that the method of steepest descent is inapplicable when...
متن کاملPropagation model based on ray tracing for the design of personal communication systems in indoor environments
In this paper, a ray-tracing technique to predict the propagation channel parameters in indoor scenarios is presented. It is a deterministic technique, fully three-dimensional, based on geometrical optics (GO) and the uniform theory of diffraction (UTD). A model of plane facets is used for the geometrical description of the environment. The ray tracing is accelerated considerably by using the A...
